Purpose/Mission. In today’s world, social media plays a bigger role in our lives than we could’ve ever imagined. Social media on its own has created a rapidly expanding industry that is now coming to dominate the workforce. Though we have marketing and entrepreneurship courses at school none educate us on how this works in the social media world. What S.E.I.C will do will allow a group of students to study, learn, and create in this new field. Together the club will learn how to become an influencer, how to build a brand, how to sell a brand, the responsibilities of an influencer in their community, and how influencers use their platform to give back.
