• Rising 6th Grade Registration

    Orchestra is a class that happens during the school day.  The class will be a part of your child's schedule.

    ​Being in a performing arts class is not required, but most children will choose one.

    ​If your child is at all interested in playing an instrument in orchestra, he/she should join this year.

    ​Music Selection Process:

    • All 5th grade students will come to Crews MS in late March. 
    • They will get to hear a performance from each ensemble (band, chorus, and orchestra) and they will also get to spend 15 minutes in each of these classrooms.
    • Golden tickets for choosing which program will be sent home that night.  
    • 5th grade students will need to select which program he/she would like to be in, get a parent signature, and return that form to the 5th grade teacher the next day. 
    • The performing arts teachers from Crews MS will come to the elementary schools to pick up the golden tickets once they have been turned in.

    • Please DO NOT rent or buy an instrument yet!  We need to review important information with you prior to you acquiring an instrument for your child.
