Book Wishlist
Any student, teacher, or community member may request a book be ordered for the media center collection by filling out the Google form below. All suggestions will be given consideration by the media committee for addition to the media program.

Behavior
Students are expected to follow the T.I.G.E.R. Traits (Trust, Integrity, Growth, Effort, & Respect). Students will follow the same expectations that are exhibited in the classroom.

Book Check Outs and Returns
Checkouts
Students will visit the media center with their class to check out books. Each grade level may check out the following amount of books:
- Kindergarten & 1st Grade - 1 book
- 2nd, 3rd, & 4th Grades - 2 books
- 5th Grade - 2 books
Returns
Students will return library books in their classrooms in the morning. Teachers will then send the books from the classroom to the media center.

Online Research Library
Doing research? Did you want to find access to our databases which include encyclopedias, ebooks (Tumblebooks and Bookflix), and more? Access your eClass account and click on the Online Research Library icon.

Paying for Lost/Damaged Books
Lost books are $15 per hardback and $5 per paperback. All replacement books must be purchased through funds generated in MyPaymentsPlus or county-directed funds.
Harbins Elementary has gone cashless. All fines from the media center will be handled in MyPaymentsPlus. Any Harbins’ book that is returned in good condition, and in a timely manner, will have a refund generated. Click on the Google Slide below for instructions.

Readers Rally
The Gwinnett Readers Rally is a quiz bowl style competition for students and is offered to 4th and 5th grade students at Harbins. Students read books from a predetermined list and answer questions about those books. Each Gwinnett County school may send up to 10 players to the Readers Rally. Information about practice times will be updated soon.Coaches
