Students will achieve success in academic knowledge, skills, and behavior through participation in the Pinckneyville Middle School student-oriented, comprehensive counseling program. Students will have equitable access to appropriate resources and support for success in their academic, social-emotional development, and career exploration, in accordance to the standards and competencies measured by the national, state, and the Gwinnett County Public Schools’ Office Counseling College and Career Services.

Ms. Bridgette Willis
Ms. Willis was born in Atlanta, GA. She graduated from Columbus State University with a Bachelor of Arts in School Guidance and Counseling. She earned a Bachelor of Arts in Psychology at the University of West Georgia. Prior to Pinckneyville Middle School, Ms. Willis served as a School Counselor for grades K-5 at Chattahoochee Elementary and Beaver Ridge Elementary in Gwinnett County. She has served as a School Counselor for Gwinnett County Public Schools for 14 years. She also has worked abroad in Abu Dhabi as a School Counselor where she developed a School Guidance and Counseling Program for a private academy. She is passionate about helping students become well-rounded while helping them grow socially and emotionally. She is excited to be the 6th grade School Counselor at Pinckneyville Middle School and help students reach their full potential while achieving their goals

Ms. Janelka Williams
Ms. Williams is a New York born and raised educator and counselor. While working in Special Education for over a decade as a Teacher’s Assistant, she graduated from College of New Rochelle with a Bachelor of Arts degree majoring in psychology. Ms. Williams later earned her Master of Education in School Counseling from Liberty University, adding clinical courses to be eligible for her LPC. She is also a therapist/coach and is passionate about helping students reach their goals, overcome personal obstacles, and reach their fullest potential. Ms. Williams started at the end of the last school year in eighth grade and is excited about working with the 7th grade this school year.

Ms. Stefanie McDougald
Mrs. McDougald is Georgia born and North Carolina raised. She graduated from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro with her Bachelor of Arts and Albany State University with a Master’s in Education in School Counseling. Prior to working at Pinckneyville Middle School, Mrs. McDougald served as a 9th-12th grade high school counselor in St. Charles Parish Public Schools outside of New Orleans, Louisiana. Mrs. McDougald is a strong advocate for students and enjoys encouraging them to achieve their goals. She is excited to serve as the 8th grade counselor and is looking forward to an awesome school year supporting our students!
