    I was an elementary school counselor for 14 years in Hall County, and I am excited to join the Jackson staff this year as the counselor for 1st and 4th grades. I received my Bachelor's degrees in Psychology and German from the University of Georgia, and my Master's and Educational Specialist degrees in school counseling from Georgia State University. In my spare time I enjoy spending time with my husband and 3 daughters, cheering on the UGA Bulldogs, reading, and playing tennis. I am looking forward to getting to know the families of Jackson Elementary!

  • Kim Moore

    I have been an Elementary School Counselor at Jackson Elementary since 2005.  I received my Bachelor's Degree in Communication Arts from Georgia Southern University, my Masters in Professional Counseling from Georgia State University and my Educational Specialist degree in School Counseling from University of Georgia.  Before becoming an elementary school counselor I worked as an college admissions counselor. In my free time, I love to travel with my husband and two wonderful sons. I also enjoy yoga, seeing live theater, and spending time outdoors.

  • Ashley Wood

    I have been a school counselor at Jackson Elementary since 2007.  Over the years I have worked with grades 2-5. This year I am the school counselor for 3rd-5th. I received my Bachelor’s Degree in Psychology and Sociology from the University of Georgia, my Masters in Community Counseling from Loyola University Chicago, and my Educational Specialist degree in School Counseling from the University of West Georgia. Before becoming a school counselor, I worked as a Crisis Intervention Counselor in the Emergency Department.  Outside of school I love to spend time with my family, travel, read, and play with my two dogs. I have a personal goal to travel to all fifty states before I retire. So far I have visited all but 16 states!
