• Digital Learning Day Info
  • For the 2024-2025 school year, there are four planned Digital Learning Days (DLDs) scheduled throughout the year for teacher planning/staff development.

    • Friday, September 20
    • Tuesday, November 5
    • Friday, February 7
    • Friday, March 14

    On these days, all students will log into their My eCLASS Student Portal and learn from home by completing assignments in their classes (including Specials) at their own pace in Google Classroom. In most cases, this will consist of a few hours of work for the students. Students who are unable to complete assignments on these DLDs will be given the opportunity to complete assignments when they return to school. If your student needs a device to use during Digital Learning Days, please communicate this need to your child's teacher and they will send home the GCPS Chromebook checked out to your child.

    Note: The GCPS calendar for 2024-2025 does not include designated inclement weather make-up days. GCPS will make up any inclement weather days by using Digital Learning Days (DLDs) and/or extending the school day or year. For more information regarding inclement weather procedures, please visit the GCPS website.

  • Logging Into the Student Portal

    Visit the eCLASS login page to access the My eCLASS Student Portal.

    User ID = student ID number
    Password = student's birthdate (mmddyyyy)

    For example, if your student’s birth occurred on June 9, 2015, their password would be 06092015.

    Should a student have an issue logging in and lock themselves out of the portal please wait 15 minutes for the lock to reset.  After 15 minutes, should you still have log in issues please contact your teacher via the email you have on file with GCPS.

  • G Suite Google Account Troubleshooting

    With personal and GCPS Google accounts, teachers and students may have trouble accessing Google applications, even when the creator of the document has shared it correctly. This can be caused by defaults on devices other than county issued computers that students and teachers are working from.

    Please use a guest browser or log out of all other Google/Gmail accounts prior to logging in to your Student Portal, eCLASS or your GCPS G-Suite/Google account.  You can also add the GCPS profile information on the Chrome profile using the directions below.

    Click here to access directions on how to add your child's GCPS account to the Chrome profile for the device your child is using.

    Please contact your teacher should you have any questions.
