Mission/Purpose
The Muslim Student Association at GSMST is committed to fostering a safe and welcoming space for Muslim students and the broader school community. We strive to create a space where Muslim & Non-Muslim students can connect, share experiences, and address the unique challenges faced in our community. Through open dialogue, mutual support, and collective action, we aim to promote understanding and unity within our school to create a positive and inclusive environment.
Planned Activities
The Muslim Student Association plans to host educational talks about Islam, fun team-building activities, preparation events for MIST (Muslim Interscholastic Tournament), and potlucks for special events (Ramadan, Eid), Jummah (Friday) Prayers.
Meetings
The club will meet twice a month, on Tuesdays. However, if needed, we will have short 30-minute meetings on Thursdays.

Leadership/Elections
The MSA officer board will consist of a President, Vice-President, Secretary, Social Media Manager, and Outreach Coordinator. Applications will be through Google Forms, with the current officers voting on candidates. Previous commitment and attendance will be factored into the decision-making. The most senior applicants will be prioritized for the highest positions (President, Vice President, etc).
