  • WHERE IS THE PLAN AVAILABLE?

The Family and Community Engagement Plan and all other  Title I information are available on our school’s website at https://www.gcpsk12.org/MeadowcreekES  under the Title I Section. Families can find paper copies of this Family and Community Engagement Plan in our Family Engagement Center. The Plan/Promise is also available on parents’  MyPaymentPlus account.

  • HOW IS THE PLAN DEVELOPED AND REVISED?

It is reviewed and revised at least annually during the Planning Meeting in the spring. All feedback forms from the Planning Meeting are submitted to the Office of Federal Programs for review.  Families who are not able to attend the Planning Meeting have the opportunity to review draft documents and provide input during the draft document review period. The plan is also reviewed with families twice a year during Parent/Teacher Conferences.

  • COMMUNICATION

We believe that meaningful, two-way communication between teachers and families will improve academic success for students. Therefore, Meadowcreek Elementary provides opportunities for regular meetings with our families to participate in two-way communication relating to the education of their child; including Parent/Teacher meetings, website communication, Text Remind, School Messenger, Parent Center Virtual Meetings, and Friday Folder, etc. All communication is translated/interpreted to the extent possible and meetings are held in various formats. We will make every attempt to eliminate barriers such as transportation and childcare.

Parents may communicate with the Parent Instructional Coordinator (Ms. Judy Pena-Perez) to assist in scheduling a meeting with their child’s teacher at a convenient time.
