  • Kalissa Hernandez
  • Kalissa Hernandez is the choral director of Crews Middle School Chorus. She received her Bachelor of Music in Music Education with an emphasis in voice and a certificate in Musical Theatre from the University of Georgia. 

    Ms. Hernandez is classically trained in voice and piano. For multiple years, she has taught private lessons in voice, piano, guitar, and general music at a studio based in Monroe to students of various ages and backgrounds. Ms. Hernandez also has experience in church music, singing in various choirs, serving as the Musical Director for the Spanish Ministries, and directing the Children’s Praise Group.

    Ms. Hernandez is a firm believer in music education, utilizing and advocating for its enriching abilities in people’s lives. She aids in fostering and promoting choral singing in hopes of providing artistic, cultural, and spiritual experiences for the participants.
