Mission/Purpose

The GSMST Digital Media Club (DMC) assists in the production of morning announcements and creates content for school and community purposes. DMC provides students with extracurricular access to the facilities and expertise of GSMST's digital media program. Members will be trained on Sony and Canon cameras, Adobe Creative Cloud applications, broadcast systems, and production planning. DMC provides technical education that will help students prepare for careers in the film and broadcast industry, and DMC members are considered first for on-campus production internships along with students who have taken digital media production classes.

Planned Activities

The Digital Media Club meets weekly to learn new skills and work on production projects, and DMC members produce our daily morning news show alongside JFE and SCE interns. DMC members also comprise the event production crew for International Night and other school events. The DMC Film Festival, held in the spring, showcases member submissions.
