Mission/Purpose
GSMST is well known for its diverse student population and the Chinese Club expresses one of such cultures. Our purpose is to help GSMST students acquire a taste of Chinese culture and gain a more global viewpoint through a variety of activities such as making dumplings, playing ping pong, and playing Mahjong.
Planned Activities
Celebrating traditional Chinese holidays, making and eating Chinese food, practicing calligraphy, playing ping pong, and holding charitable fundraisers. Through its bubble tea and bake sale fundraisers, the Chinese Club has continuously funded charities such as Half the Sky, which helps underprivileged orphans in China.
Meetings
The Chinese Club will meet two Thursdays a month from 3:15 to 4:30 PM in the cafeteria.
