About Ms. Samuels (6th Grade)
Ms. Casandra Samuels
6th Grade Counselor
Hey Radloff family!
My name is Mrs. Casandra Samuels and I am the 6th grade counselor. I am excited for the opportunity to work with the 6th grade students and their families as well as the teachers, administrators and Radloff staff and community. My passion is to help young people navigate through life by setting personal goals, learning healthy social and emotional behaviors, and striving to reach their full academic potential. This year marks my 6th year as an educator. I began as a high school teacher and the last three years I worked as a middle school counselor. I earned my Bachelor of Arts degree in Psychology at the University of South Dakota and went on to complete my Master of Education in School Counseling at the University of Nevada Las Vegas.
I just moved to Georgia this summer and I have now officially lived in every region of the U.S. I am excited to make Gwinnett County my home! My favorite things to do are spend time with my family which includes my husband, daughter, and soon to be son. I love playing basketball and softball, hiking, going to the beach, reading and listening to music.
My goal is to support all students and families, so please don’t hesitate to contact me by email or phone if you need my assistance. I am looking forward to a fantastic school year!

My educational background includes a Bachelor’s degree in Health Science with a concentration in Public Health, a Master’s degree in School Counseling K-12, and a Doctorate’s degree in Educational Leadership K-12.
