1. The advanced art classes will explore a variety of drawing and painting media, techniques, and equipment to solve visual art problems.2. The advanced art classes will connect new ideas, skills, and concepts to previous or future learning.3. Students will use sketchbooks/journals to organize and convey thematic content, ideas, feelings or moods to previous and future learning.We will participate in community art exhibitions, as well as NAEA and GAEA juried exhibitions and opportunities. We will host visits from colleges and universities regarding portfolio preparation, scholarship opportunities and artist talks. Upcoming Visits and Projects:Hartford Art School visits the advanced art classes on September 19th. SCAD Atlanta- Former student from Ms. Neal’s art class, Shyama Yagnik, senior at SCAD will visit the advanced classes in the Fall and Spring to talk about her experience at SCAD including; how to prepare an art portfolio, as well as share images of her senior year art work at SCAD. Snellville Library- art work from Ms. Neal’s art classes will be on exhibit during Fall & Spring at the Snellville Library. Georgia Art Educators Association –The State of Georgia Capitol Art Exhibition. Ms. Neal will feature two art students in the State Capitol of Georgia, GAEA exhibition.More news to share soon! -

The Voices of Shiloh is more than a group of singers, we are a family of unified voices. Students in The Voices of Shiloh lean how to sight-read, create various harmonies, and perform for numerous events.

SHILOH HIGH SCHOOL ORCHESTRA
Mr. Eubanks has been a music educator for 28 years and is currently the Director of Orchestras at Shiloh High School in Snellville, Georgia. He holds a Master of Music Education from Troy University, and a Bachelor of Music Education from Columbus State University, and is an active clinician and adjudicator. Mr. Eubanks began his teaching career as an elementary and middle school band director before becoming the Assistant Director of Bands at Houston County High School in his hometown of Warner Robins, GA. Prior to his position at Shiloh High School, Mr. Eubanks was Director of Bands at Sandy Creek High School in Tyrone, GA, Temple High School in Temple, Georgia and Director of Bands and Orchestra at Sequoyah High School in Canton, Georgia.
Mr. Eubanks has been listed in Who’s Who Among American High School Teachers and has been awarded the National Band Association’s Citation of Excellence on five occasions. He is also been inducted into Phi Beta Mu Honorary Music Fraternity. In 2022 Mr. Eubanks was selected as Star Teacher at Sequoyah High School. Mr. Eubanks has served as the coordinator of both the GMEA District 9 Band and Orchestra Large Group Performance Evaluations as well as the coordinator and host for the GMEA District 9 1st round all-state auditions. In 2024 Mr. Eubanks was names GMEA District 9 “Music Educator Of The Year”.
Bands and orchestras under Mr. Eubanks’ direction have consistently earned superior ratings at the Georgia Music Educator’s Association Large Group Performance Evaluations as well as class and grand championships at regional marching competitions. Mr. Eubanks’ ensembles have performed in New York, Chicago, Washington D.C., and at The Magic Kingdom in Orlando, Florida. Mr. Eubanks currently resides in Woodstock, Georgia.
