  • Art Club

    The art club is designed for 3rd-5th grade students who want to enhance their learning and love for art and design. Students will experience different types of mediums and styles, while receiving guidance and training in the design skills.

  • Basketball Club

    The basketball club is an exciting way to encourage sportsmanship, teamwork, and athletics in one. Students learn the core, foundational principles of basketball, while also learning the value of hard work and teamwork to achieve the dream.

  • Beta Club

    The Beta Club is an academic honor designed to celebrate and challenge students displaying high academic honor and achievement. Students are recognized at the end of the year with a formal ceremony acknowledging their high academic achievement and commitment to enhancing our school.

  • Chess Club

    The Chess club is an academic extension that challenges students in the game of Chess. Students learn the fundamentals to make strategic moves, improving cognition and critical thinking beyond the classroom. Students engage in local school competition to practice these skills.

  • Chorus

    Chorus club offers focused vocal training, choral singing experiences both in unison and harmony arrangements, and performance opportunities including a staged musical. The Chorus club is an exciting way to foster musical skills and encourage soft skills amongst students. This is for 3rd-5th grade students.

  • Flag Football

    The flag football club is committed to fostering leadership, sportsmanship, and athleticism in girls in the 4th and 5th grades. The club provides an overview and practice of the basic rules of the game, along with how to utilize teamwork to be successful.

  • Lego League

    Lego League is a safe space for all things STEAM. Lego League fosters imagination, curiosity, initiative, and teamwork. Students engage in various challenges to prepare for the Lego League competition at the end of the year, as well as learn the basics of robotics. This is for 4th and 5th grade students.

  • Peer Leadership

    The Annistown Peer Leadership Program is a program designed to build leadership skills in 5th grade students as well as provide assistance to students who may be having difficulty with academics. The program seeks to create a culture of trust and engagement, empower students to work independently and with diverse groups, provide students with tools to better achieve goals, and develop student voice.

    Meeting Times/Days: Bi-Monthly Thursdays during specials 2:25-3:10pm

  • Reader's Rally

    Readers Rally is a reading quiz bowl style competition for students in grades four through twelve. Students read books from a pre-determined list and answer questions about those books. Each Gwinnett County school may send one team of ten players or less to the Readers Rally event.

  • Safety Patrols

    AAA School Safety Patrols benefit students, schools, and communities. This is for 5th grade students.

    Students gain:
    Safety awareness, Leadership, Teamwork, Pride, Citizenship, and Respect for law enforcement

    Schools benefit from opportunities to promote:
    Traffic safety awareness, Peer-to-peer education, Character-building opportunities, A constructive outlet for students’ energy, and A positive relationship with parents, law enforcement, and the overall community

    Faculty Advisors formally meet with Safety Patrols on a bi-weekly basis.

  • Soccer Club

    The purpose of this camp is to give 3rd-5th grade students the opportunity to learn the fundamental skills of soccer while also instilling life lessons, discipline, character, sportsmanship and a love for physical activity.
