Who is my counselor?
Ms. Carreon is the counselor for 9th grade students.
Mr. Howell is the counselor for 10th grade students.
Ms. Tinsley is the counselor for 11th grade students.

How do parents request a meeting with their child's counselor?
Parents can request an appointment by contacting their student's counselor via email or phone as listed on the Counselor Welcome Page.

How do students make an appointment with their counselor?
Students can make an appointment by scanning the QR code on the Counseling Department flyer posted in teachers’ classrooms or by using the link on the Counseling eClass page.

How do I find my HOPE GPA?
Students can find their HOPE Calculated GPA on the GA Futures website. The HOPE GPA is calculated by the Georgia Student Finance Commission using only core classes. McClure Health Science High School does not calculate the HOPE GPA.

I can not see my HOPE GPA in GA Futures?
Make sure you bring a copy of your social security card to the counseling office. Gwinnett County sends transcript information to GA Futures after grades have been finalized each semester. You will need to wait until after next semester to see your HOPE calculated GPA in GA Futures after the updated information is transferred when grades are finalized.

How do I get a copy of my transcript?
Unofficial copies are available under the "Documents" tab on the Parent/Student Portal. If you need an official copy of your transcript, please use the Transcript Request Form.
