Each spring, rising 7th-grade students are eligible to complete an interest application to be considered for participation in the year-long high school level Spanish connections class. This class is designed for students to complete half of Level I Spanish in the seventh grade and the second half in eighth grade. Students who successfully complete Level I Spanish in eighth grade will be eligible to earn a Carnegie Unit (high school credit). Students will need to pass the course as well as take the Level 1 Spanish exam which includes a speaking and a writing performance assessment.
