Registration Information
We are excited that your child will be attending a Gwinnett County Public School. Our school system has an easy-to-use, secure online registration system that will allow you to complete many of the forms required for registering your child. As you go through the online registration process, you will now be able to upload your required documentation.
Do you have a future Wildcat? It is time to get our rising Kindergartners prepared for the school year. Online kindergarten registration opens April 6th. Please visit the (only if parents DO NOT have Parent Portal, if you DO please continue below) Gwinnett County Public Schools Kindergarten Registration site for registration information and to complete the online registration process. Once you have registered online and you need to drop off documents, please call the front office 770-476-2241, to schedule an appointment- We will only accept documents if you have all the documents required for registration- Birth Certificate, current Lease or Mortgage Statement, Utility Bill, Immunization form 3231, VHD 3300, SSN #, and copy of Parent ID. We are not accepting incomplete documents at this time.

My Child Was Previously Registered at a Gwinnett County Public School
If your child was ever registered in any Gwinnett County Public School (even if there was a gap in attGendance) you DO NOT need to register again.
Gather the following documents:
- An official document showing proof of birth date
- Proof that you live in attendance zone
- A valid Georgia certificate of immunization (GA Form #3231)
- Evidence of Vision, Hearing, Dental, and Nutrition Screening (GA Form #3300-Rev. 2013)
- A photo ID for the adult registering the child
- Proof of authorized person to enroll
- Child’s social security number (Students will be enrolled, even if the number is not provided.)
- Report cards or official school transcript (current K-12 student)
- Withdrawal form previous school (current K-12 student)

My Child Will Be Attending a GCPS School for the First Time
To begin the process, please register your child online via the Gwinnett County Registration Portal.
Once online registration has been completed, gather the following documents:
- An official document showing proof of birth date
- Proof that you live in attendance zone
- A valid Georgia certificate of immunization (GA Form #3231)

My Child Will No Longer Be Attending Harris Elementary
We wish your child the best during the transition to a new school. Our school system has an easy-to-use, secure online withdrawal process that will allow you to complete the form required for withdrawing your child. Once you complete and submit the online withdrawal form, you will be contacted by a school representative to verify your id and to provide you with any additional information necessary to complete the withdrawal if needed for your child.
If using a browser other than Internet Explorer (IE), in order to complete the form and submit it, you will need to do the following steps:

· Open the downloaded form with an Adobe application
· Fill out the form
