Kindergarten and new student registration
  • Kindergarten Online Registration for the 2024-2025 school year is now open!

    Review the GCPS Registration page to determine what documents and kindergarten requirements need to be met before starting the steps below. 

  • Step 1: Complete Online Registration

    If this is your first time registering any student for GCPS:

    • For parents enrolling a Kindergarten or new student, and you have no other students in the GCPS system, please click here to begin the Online Registration process. A reminder to please complete the required Online Registration Form for EACH new student you are registering. 

    If you currently have other children attending a GCPS school:

    • If you already have another child enrolled in a GCPS school, you will need to add your new student via your ParentVue account.  Log into  ParentVUE and begin the registration process by clicking on the 'Online Registration' button in the upper right-hand corner.  
      • Note: March 2024 GCPS consolidated Parent Portal and ParentVue. You will need to reset your ParentVue password by clicking 'forgot password'. Please continue to use your email as your username.

    • Please DO NOT create a new ParentVue account for the new student.  Use your existing ParentVue account to register your new student.  If you cannot log into your account, please call the school for help @ 770-972-3110.

    If you are enrolling a new Kindergartener for the 2024-2025 school year, the child must be 5 years old by September 1, 2024.

    Please Note: This DOES NOT complete the registration process. Please continue with Step 2.

  • Step 2: Submit Required Documentation

    Required documentation can be uploaded during the online registration process.  A list of the required documents can be found HERE.

    We encourage you to upload all documents when registering. These items include:

    • Birth Certificate
    • Parent Photo ID
    • Social Security Card
    • Immunization on Ga form # 3231
    • Vision/Hearing/Dental on Ga form #3300
    • TWO Proofs of Residency which may include:
      Water bill, Electric bill, AND/OR closing/lease agreement, property tax bill, homeowner's insurance, warranty deed

    A residency affidavit is required for all students if you reside in a home that is owned by someone else, upload the above information and an attached residency affidavit.

    Please be aware that your child will not be entered into our student database and assigned to a teacher until ALL required documents are received. If possible, please upload documents ahead of time.

  • Additional Information (Supply List, cafeteria, etc.)

    • Supply List - Find out what materials your child will need this school year (Updated May of each year)

    • MyPaymentsPlus - Create an account to pay student cafeteria balances, set up pre-payments for breakfast/lunch, and receive low balance e-mail reminders

    • ParentSquare- All school/district communication will be through ParentSquare. Verify and customize your account.

    • Free & Reduced Lunch Application - Must be renewed each year
