Being a digital citizen means you use modern technology to engage with society online. This could mean communicating with others, selling or purchasing goods and services, learning, or any number of other activities. 

We all need to work to be good digital citizens. We should strive to treat people with respect, be able to accurately separate fact from fiction, honor privacy rights, and much more.

You can learn more about being a good digital citzen by playing a game at Common Sense Media or doing one of the many activities provided by GCPS. If you play the game from Common Sense Media, know that each character in the game explores a different aspect of digital citizenship. Each story takes about 45 minutes and has multiple endings based on the decisions you make as you play.
