Letter to Parents

  • Dear Parents,

Welcome to Bethesda Elementary School Cafeteria.  We are so excited to see your students and will do our best to make sure they are well taken care of.  School lunch costs $2.25, reduced lunch costs $.40.  They will receive a 5-star meal = 1 entree, 2 fruits, 2 vegetables and 1 milk is optional. Students are expected to pay the amount owed for lunch daily using cash, check or online payment at My Payment Plus. When you send in cash or check with your student, please make sure you put the first and last name of your student on the envelope and mark lunch money. The student will take the envelope to the cafeteria when they go for breakfast and/or lunch.  Please set-up an account at My Payments Plus.  It will allow you to deposit money on-line and monitor the account. An on-line account can be set up to email you when the student’s funds are getting low.  All you need to set up the account is your student's ID number.

The free and reduced application is available online.  The application will take about 5 minutes to fill out and you will have the results in 24 to 48 hours.  You only have to fill out ONE application per family per year.

School breakfast is provided each day at 7:45 am and is served free of cost to all students. They will receive 1 entrée, 1 whole fruit, 1 apple juice or 1 orange juice and 1 milk.

Parents will be informed in writing, by email and/or by a phone call of the student’s current payment status and the need for immediate payment.  Please ensure that your student has the proper funds so he/she can enjoy a nutritious meal.

    Thank you,

    Kellie Huffman, SNP Manager
