    For the 2023-2024 School Year

    WHAT: New Student to Winn Holt Elementary Register for the 2023-2024 school year (returning student will only need to complete Orientation documents online at mypaymentsplus)

    WHO: Parents and guardians of children who will be five years old on or before September 1, 2023

    HOW: Complete the steps below to register online. Then come to Winn Holt Elementary during registration hours with the important information listed below to complete the registration process. Your child’s registration will be delayed if you do not bring the needed paperwork.

    STEP 1:
    To complete the registration process for your student, you MUST have an active email account.

    STEP 2:
    Before starting the online registration process, you will need this information, available as printable directions.

    STEP 3:
    Please complete the required Online Enrollment Form for EACH new student you are registering. Access the Online Enrollment Form.

    If you are enrolling a new Kindergartner, the child must be 5 years old by September 1, 2023. Access Kindergarten Information.

    Please Note: This DOES NOT complete the registration process. Please continue with the steps below.

    STEP 4: 
    Bring in all required documentation  to the Winn Holt Elementary Front Office during registration hours. Please be aware that your child will not be entered into our student database and assigned a teacher until ALL required documents are received. If possible, please make copies ahead of time.

    STEP 5: 
    Please check your child's grade level supply list using this link.

     STEP 6
    Find out about daily meal prices, how to set up an online lunch account, and how to apply for free/reduced lunch.
    If applicable, please return the "School Meal Information Form" to your local school. Free and Reduced applications will be available July 1st for all students.

    STEP 7:
    Once students have been entered into our Student Information System, they will be assigned a student ID number (may take up to 48 hours).  You will need this ID number in order to complete the online Orientation documents.  Once you receive this number please create a MyPaymentsPlus account to pay student cafeteria balances, field trips, club dues, etc. and all Gwinnett County Required Orientation documents.  If forms are not completed, your child will not be allowed to participate in any Extracurricular Activities and Technology usage will be suspended.

    The MyPaymentsPlus website will be available for the 2023-2024 school year by the end of July. Please contact the school if you need assistance 678-376-8600.

     

    Other Forms or Resources you may need:

    Medical Forms - Some health conditions may require that additional documentation be kept on file at your local school. Please complete any forms that pertain to your child and return them to your school.

    Residency Affidavit - This form is required if you are not on the lease of the home in which you live.  Person on the lease will be required to complete the form.

    Immunizations -  By state law, a valid certificate of immunization (Form #3231) or a notarized statement of religious exemption (Form #2208) is required for enrollment. The certificate of immunization must be completed by the health department or your private physician. A valid Form #3231 must be marked with either "Date of Expiration" or as "Complete for School Attendance." (A certificate marked with a "Date of Expiration" expires on the date indicated. A current certificate must be submitted within 30 days of expiration.) A medical exemption, if applicable, should be noted on Form #3231 with a current date of expiration. You may request a form from your school for religious exemption.

    Alternate Transportation Form - Fill out if your child will be taking a GCPS bus to another place other than your listed address (example: babysitter's house, grandparent's house, etc...) and bring to Winn Holt Elementary Front Office
