Jordan Wilks
Hi! My name is Jordan Wilks, Counselor for Kindergarten and 1st grade. I grew up down the road in Chamblee and attended the University of Georgia for my Bachelor's in Psychology and Women’s Studies (Go Dawgs!!). After deciding to combine my passions for education and mental health, I earned my Master's of Education in School Counseling at Georgia State University.
I feel lucky to have a role in making sure all students and families feel safe and welcome when they walk through the doors. I am passionate about advocacy, empowerment, and teaching social emotional learning skills through the use of diverse children’s books. When I am not at school, you can find me reading, listening to music, and taking naps at home! My absolute favorite thing to do is eat delicious food. If there is anything I can do to help your family, please feel free to email me at jordan.wilks@gcpsk12.org
