  • Play 2 Learn is a program for children ages birth to 5 and their parents or caregivers that encourages learning through play.  This program is focused on building the capacity of parents to be their child’s first teacher, as well as providing an opportunity for students to learn socialization skills from participating in a group setting.  Activities utilizing best practices for readiness skills in communication, language and literacy, cognitive development, social-emotional development, approaches to play and learning and motor skills development are modeled for parents/caregivers. 

  • Play 2 Learn at Centerville Elementary School is held every Wednesday morning from 9:30 am - 11:00 am.

  • YOU are your child's FIRST and BEST teacher!

    Play allows children to use their creativity while developing their imagination, dexterity, and physical, cognitive, and emotional strength. Play is important for healthy brain development. It is through play that children at a very early age engage and interact in the world around them.
