Boys Basketball

Meeting Information: Mr Burton's Room (E-Wing) and Upper/Lower Gym, Mondays through Thursdays at 4:45 PM
Purpose: To develop basketball skills and improve as a player. To learn "life lessons" that have value beyond the basketball court.
Dues/Membership: Yes; 7th and 8th graders with a current physical; pass 5 out of 6 classes and in good disciplinary status; must pay fees and dues by the given deadline

Cross Country

Meeting Information: Monday through Thursday 4:45 - 5:30pm
Purpose: Creekland Eagles Cross Country Team promotes academic and athletic excellence in order to compete in the sport of Cross Country Running.

Meeting Information: Practices are Monday, Wednesday and Friday – Lower Gym @ 4:30pm to 5:45pm
Purpose: Our goal is to grow as dancers, performers, and people and bring spirit to CMS Basketball games and other events.
Dues/Membership: Yes, students must be passing 5 out of 6 classes to participate; sports physicals; dancers may be restricted from performing due to poor attendance or bad behavior. See audition packet for additional information.

Intramurals Fall & Spring
Faculty Sponsor(s): Coach Ricket & Coach Huynh
Meeting Information: Fall (8/16/22-10/11/22) and Spring (3/7/23-5/16/23) for 9 weeks, Tuesdays 6th grade, Wednesdays 7th grade and Thursdays 8th grade. Students need to enter the building in the lower gym lobby at 8:00. ALL students need to be in the upper gym by 8:10.
Purpose: To allow students the opportunity to develop physical skills while learning to work collaboratively; the program offers students a variety of activities that can be played before the school day begins
Dues/Membership: No; participants must wear appropriate shoes for play on the gym floor as well as school-approved clothing. Students are expected to demonstrate good sportsmanship and conduct at all times. Students who create problems due to conduct, bad sportsmanship, etc. will be banned from participation in this program.

Purpose: The mission of the Creekland Girls Volleyball Club is to provide students an atmosphere in which they grow as individuals and athletes, learning and increasing their skills in volleyball in preparation for advance play.

Meeting Information: 1st Meeting will be September 20; Every Wednesday 4:45-5:45 PM in the Upper Gym
Purpose: A boy's group to create a safe environment to help young boys grow in confidence and self-esteem. We will provide mentorship, coaching, and community involvement to foster healthy relationships and promote maturity through brother-hood.
Dues/Membership: Yes; To cultivate a safe and welcoming environment the following rules must be followed:
- Be respectful to yourself and others.
- No bullying of any kind.
- Be willing to learn and try new things.
- Be welcoming and inclusive with your club brothers.

Eagle Action News Broadcast Club

Meeting Information: Daily @ 8:50 am in the lower media center (broadcast room)
Purpose: Students will produce and report announcements at the beginning of each school day; this includes not only the regular morning announcements but also producing short videos about happenings in the school
Dues/Membership: No; dedicated and dependable students who can and will report to the TV studio promptly each day and conduct themselves in a manner appropriate to a representative of the Creekland school family. Application process.

Sign Language Club

Purpose: The Creekland Middle School Sign Language Club works to increase awareness of American Sign Language (ASL) and Deaf Culture in our school and community. We offer a welcoming environment to all those who desire to learn or improve their signing skills through practice, lessons, activities, interaction, and performances, while developing relationships in the community.
