6th Grade Summer Reading

  • Book
  • Please note that this page is for the 2024-2025 school year.

At Trickum our students are required to read throughout the school year and over the summer. Below is a suggested list of novels. Students may choose a book that is not listed as well!

Directions: Rising 6th grade students are asked to read at least one book over the summer. When students return to school in the fall, they will be asked to complete a variety of writing tasks and activities related to their summer reading selection. The 6th grade language arts teachers will provide direct instruction and model for students how to respond to the prompts and complete the activities.
