District Assessments
Students in grades 1 through 5 participate in GCPS district-required assessments throughout the school year. The tests measure academic content in Language Arts and Math in all grades and Science and Social Studies in grades 3 - 5. Each district assessment (1st Interim, Mid-Year, 2nd Interim, and End of Year) will count for 5% of a student's summative grade during the quarter it is given.
Your child's teacher will work to prepare all students for these and other assessments given throughout the school year. If you have any questions, please contact your child's teacher.
Visit the GCPS Assessments page for more information about District Assessments.
