Summer Reading
We want your child to keep reading this summer! Your child may choose to participate in the OPTIONAL Summer Reading Bingo and earn a prize and tickets for a grand prize drawing. You will find the Patrick Elementary Summer Reading grid attached as well as a list that will help you find some books that might interest your child this summer. Students will receive a ticket for a grand prize drawing by completing each of the following activities.

1 Ticket - Take a picture of yourself reading this summer, print it, and turn it in to Mrs. Mays by Monday, August 12th.
1 Ticket - Participate in and complete the Gwinnett County Public Library Summer Reading Challenge. Mrs. Mays will receive a list of participating students in August from GCPL.
2 Tickets - Complete the Patrick Summer Reading Bingo Card and turn it in to Mrs. Mays by Monday, August 12th.

Comics Plus offers unlimited opportunities for new adventures and new perspectives, and their Summer Adventures Reading Programming Package provides resources to help combat the dreaded “summer slide” for readers of all ages.
