The mission for the school counselors at Graves Elementary is to provide students academic equity, social and emotional support, life skills, and create an environment for students to explore and build career interests. 

School counselors at Graves Elementary are to:
· Create a welcoming and safe environment for students to seek out help from their counselor for any social, personal, academic, or career needs.
· Discover their worth, purpose and inner strength and resilience.
· Challenge negative beliefs or attitudes within themselves or their peers.
