PBIS Comes to Craig!

Starting with the 2018-2019 school year, Craig Elementary officially became a PBIS school.  PBIS stands for Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support, and it is a framework designed to help schools focus on the positive behaviors that our students display on a daily basis.  A huge part of PBIS is creating a positive school climate in which students, parents, and staff feel comfortable and eager to come to school every day. 

As part of PBIS, we have created our school-wide expectations which will follow students Kindergarten through 5th grade.  At Craig Elementary, we expect students to be Ready, Responsible, & Respectful every day!  These expectations are posted throughout our school so students may refer to them at different locations and times of the day.  Please ask your child what they already know about these expectations and hear their explanations of it first-hand!
