(when things don't quite go as planned!)

We began robotics and coding in 2015 with Code.org. Then, in 2016, Dot and Dash Robots showed up in our media center. We entered their Wonder Workshop Robotics Competition, and the students won the overall championship and a trip to California, visiting Google, Facebook, Wonder Workshop and the Jet Propulsion Lab in Pasadena.

Since then, we have brought Dot and Dash to hundreds of students. In 2017, we began the First Lego League Competition. After winning several regional and super regional competitions, we brought EV3 and Spike to large groups of students at Head Elementary.

Reading With Robots has resulted in higher reading test scores as well as improved student engagement.
