Hello Five Forks Families!

 

We have some incredible news to share with you! 

 

Each year the Georgia Department of Education (GaDOE) recognizes schools and programs that have created and maintained a positive school climate through the implementation of Positive Behavioral Interventions and Support (PBIS). The GaDOE recently recognized our school as 2023-2024 PBIS Distinguished Schools for our hard work and commitment to supporting students through the implementation of PBIS. 

 

The Georgia Department of Education recognizes schools at 4 different levels, Installing, Emerging, Operational and Distinguished.

PBIS schools recognized as Distinguished are at the highest level of designation and have completed the required state implementation training and have met all the required data outcome parameters, which include a reduction in the number of Office Discipline Referrals, In-School Suspensions, and Out of School Suspensions.

 

Five Forks is beyond PROUD to be recognized for this award for the second year in a row!
