This is the class you would choose if you want to learn how to play a brass or woodwind instrument (i.e., trumpet, flute, clarinet). You may audition to play percussion (drums and mallets) at the end of the 1st semester. Everybody must start on a woodwind or brass instrument first. You will need to rent an instrument. You can rent an instrument from a local music store, or you can rent one from the school. If you rent from the school, your choice of instruments may be limited, but you will be assigned an instrument that you will have fun playing!
