We're so proud of the grand opening of The Falcons’ Nest, an in-house school store run completely by our Business, Engineering, and Marketing classes.
This school-based enterprise provides valuable hands-on experiences for students in career and technical education (CTE) courses, helping them apply their classroom knowledge to real-world situations. The concepts that students learn in CTE courses prepare them for future careers.
The Dacula Middle school-based enterprise also aligns with the competencies in the Gwinnett County Public Schools (GCPS) Portrait of a Graduate. The CTE and Portrait of a Graduate alignment help students develop the skills and attributes necessary for success in their future endeavors and contribute to their overall personal and professional growth.
This has been an amazing experience for our students and provides them with the opportunity to learn concepts related to entrepreneurship and running a business within the confines and safety of a school-based enterprise.
