Dual Enrollment Information for 8th Graders

8th grade students and families, please check out this information from the Georgia Department of Education regarding Dual Enrollment. It's purpose is to promote and increase access to postsecondary educational opportunities for Georgia high school students while increasing high school graduation rates, preparing a skilled workforce, and decreasing time and cost to postsecondary credential completion. Lifelines and Teen Lures Program

Our LMS 6th-8th grade students will be participating a classroom guidance lesson based on the Lifelines: A Suicide Prevention Program over the next few months. Please read the overview information and letter from out counseling department for program details. 

If you do not wish for your child to participate in this guidance lesson, please submit a signed letter to the school indicating that preference.
