The Shiloh High School CAS Student Handbook is available to download in the files section on Managebac (IB Juniors and Seniors have access).
CAS (Creativity, Activity, Service) starts on the first day of school in 11th grade and continues for 18 months. CAS should involve things you are passionate about and enjoy doing! Most students already have hobbies, clubs, or activities they are involved in that are eligible for CAS too. What are some examples of CAS? Look below!
Creativity
- Woodworking
- Painting
- Drawing
- Playing a musical instrument
- Learning how to play a musical instrument
- Sewing
- Knitting
- Crocheting
- Coming up with a creative solution to a problem
- Dancing
Activity
- Walking goal (steps per day/week/month)
- Fitness goal or challenge
- Improving your technique in a sport you play
- Dance style or technique
- Physical therapy
- Participate in a new exercise class
Service
- Pen pal with nursing home residents
- Volunteering
- Advocating for a cause that is important to you
