I received my school counseling degree from The Citadel and moved to Georgia soon after graduation. I have been a school counselor in Gwinnett County for 15 years.   This is my fourth year in the Berkmar Cluster and I'm so excited to be at Berkmar Middle School.  I truly enjoy my role as a school counselor and look forward to supporting and encouraging all my students as they go through their middle school years. 

Beyond the Berkmar Middle School Counseling Department, I am a GCPS Emergency Response Team Member, 8th grade Peer Leading sponsor, and Co -Coach of PBIS at Berkmar Middle School. 

Outside of school counseling…I enjoy Alabama Football (Roll Tide), Tar Heels Basketball, exercising, yoga, going to concerts, hanging out with family and friends.
