The Counseling Department is here to support our students. We offer many initiatives to help our students be the best that they can be for our school, our community, and themselves. Some of the initiatives currently in place are the Character Trait of the Month and Safety Patrol. We also have other programs and services that are available to our students based on an individual need-by-need basis. Our counselors work hard to provide the time our students need, whether in individual, small group, or large group settings to discuss and encourage social and emotional health.
In addition, we like to get our community involved with our students! If you are interested in participating in our annual Career Days or the Watch DOGS Program, please contact us!

I have been an educator for 26 years- 13 as a classroom teacher and 13 as a school counselor. I'll be working with all students with Mrs. Zamora, but I will primarily provide lessons for grades 1-5. The Shiloh counseling department works closely with students, parents, teachers, and the community to impact students' academic success and social emotional development. My family lives in Suwanee. I am the proud mom of a 23-year-old son (Frankie) and two English Bulldogs (Layla and Chubb).
Email Ms. TaylorI have been a teacher/counselor for over 33 years. I retired for the first time as a school counselor in June 2017, but my love for working with students, teachers and families brought me back to Gwinnett County Public Schools. I was blessed to be invited to be a part of the Shiloh Elementary Family in January 2019. I am looking forward to returning as the part-time counselor for the 2019-2020 school year, working with Ms. Falling, our full-time counselor. Both counselors will work with all students, but I will primarily provide guidance lessons for grades K, 2, and 4.
My family and I have lived in Lilburn for 16 years. We have two daughters, two grandsons, and two dogs.
