    Georgia Alternate Assessment (GAA) Information

  • Georgia Milestones- Grades 3,4,5

    Schools administer the Georgia Milestones End of Grade Assessments to students in grades 3-5 to measure achievement in Reading, Language Arts, Mathematics, and Science (Grade 5 only). Testing will be administered over three to five days, depending on the grade level. The testing schedule is determined by your child’s school.

    Pre > Interim > Post Assessments

    District Assessments support formative assessment practices. Each assessment is given once every 9 weeks to help teachers understand how to better instruct their students so they might understand their learning.

  • GaDOE State Assessment Program

    The assessment program includes customized summative criterion-referenced tests at the elementary, middle, and high school levels.  In addition, Georgia participates in the National Assessment of Educational Progress in grades 4, 8 and 12.  A variety of resources, including formative tools, are provided to assist parents, educators, students and the public with efforts to improve educational opportunities for students.

  • Georgia CCRPI

    CCRPI: College and Career Ready Performance Index

    CCRPI is the comprehensive school improvement, accountability, and communication platform for Georgia. It promotes college and career readiness for public school students.

    The index is based on 100 points.  
    Overall scores for elementary and middle school are comprised of four indicators:  content mastery, readiness, progress, and closing gaps.
    High school scores add a fifth indicator, graduation rate.
